I started this blog while living abroad in Australia in 2014 as a way to keep friends and family up to date on my travels. The path I chose after graduating from college lead me to roam our planet. From teaching in France, to researching whale sharks in Mexico, I chased my dream of living abroad. Then in 2016 I took a job leading cross-country tours of the US and was reminded of how beautiful my home country is. Since then I’ve stayed closer to home – well, except for the three seasons I spent working in Antarctica. In 2019 I worked as a wilderness guide in Alaska, and I’ve now moved to Montana to put some roots down and stay in one place for awhile! I still love to roam, but that looks different for me these days. I like to explore our public lands via human-powered adventures, such as backpacking and packrafting. Check out my Instagram to see what I’m up to these days!
